Business from Home.

Hey Readers! I know, I don't usually address you that way, but there is always a first time for everything. I wanted to let you all know about a new venture of mine that is finally really starting to come into place, and I am very excited about. I am starting up a business that I hope to officially launch on Etsy this Valentine's Day! The name of the business is the Quilt Curiosity Shop. I have an official Facebook Page: Quiltcuriositypage,   and Twitter page: HannahZahn1 , as well as a brand new business blog: Quilt Curiosity Shop where I shall be putting up posts and my products very soon. Following are some pictures and condensed descriptions of my products. Set of 3 Valentine’s Cards, can be sold separately, hand-stitched, calligraphy, buttons. $8 for set, or $3 each. Child of His.

When I was 11 or 12 years old I was introduced to a Christian artist named Mark Shultz. I know I have referred to a song or two of his in the past, but I am going to again. More recently one of his songs has really fit where I find myself spiritually and emotionally. So here goes me opening up using song lyrics.... I’ve been hearing voices Telling me that I could Never be what I wanna be. They’re binding me with lies, Haunting me at night, And saying there’s nothing to believe. Somewhere in the quietness, When I’m overcome with loneliness, I hear You call my name. And like a father You are near And as I listen I can hear You say I've been hearing voices. There are voices that like to speak to me when I am not paying close attention; the voice of Satan and his minions

Redeemed Friend of the King.

Once upon a time, as all good stories start, there was a little servant girl. This little servant girl was one day asked whether she would like to serve the King. "Who is the King?" The little girl asked. "Why, he's wonderful. He cares for all the people in the land, He watches over them, and it is quite a pleasure to be able to serve Him." This sounded pretty good to the little girl, so she agreed. She didn't really know this King, and wasn't always sure how best to serve Him, but she tried her best. Or at least almost her best. When she remembered, she would clean up the King's woods, or care for His people, or bless His land with her bubbly spirit and lively personality. But somehow it never really occurred to her that she was 'serving' someone she had never seen and really knew nothing about. One day after many years, the girl was a little bit older, and had a few more years of this blind half-hearted service under her belt. Sh

24 Books Read in 2013.

With a New Year often comes new resolutions. Well last year I set some goals for the New Year, and actually followed through on one of them. I made a list of 24 books that I wanted to read for the year, and actually completed 23 of them, changing one at the last minute. The books ranged in length, difficulty, and content. But some of them were really good. So I wanted to share with you all what I read last year, and tell you a little more about some of them. Bear with me, or skip ahead to one that looks interesting. January : Every Young Woman's Battle by Shannon Ethridge and Stephen Arterburn This book was very helpful in a time that I was really struggling with many of the issues dealt with in this book. It was both convicting and practical. It warned against dangers, presented radical solutions, and was full of scripture that was and still is quite helpful in my battle with my flesh. Really recommend for all young woman, whether you think you struggle in this area or not
