I am sure you have read blogs in the past where the Author neglected to post anything for quite a while, and then when they finally did write again, they spent the entire post apologizing profusely for their negligence. That is not my plan here. Suffice it to say that I was involved in the directing team of a play this last week, and it was absolutely crazy.
Moving on, however, I would like to point you today towards a book rather then a blog post or article. The name of the book is Feminine Appeal: Seven Virtues of a Godly Wife and Mother
by Carolyn Mahaney.

The author of this book is Carolyn Mahaney,

wife of the well known pastor and leader C. J . Mahaney.

She is the mother of 4 now-grown children, and her book is written as one who has had experience in many forms of womanhood. Though it is targeted towards wives and mothers, it gives many insights into femininity in general, and I believe all women would benefit by reading her book. In it she talks on Titus 2, and the seven godly virtues of a woman it enhances.

  • Loving our Husbands
  • Loving our Children
  • Self-Control
  • Purity
  • Working at Home
  • Kindness
  • Submission
Carolyn says: "Not only has Titus 2 transformed my life, but I've seen it revolutionize the lives of countless other women. No matter what your age or season of life--whether you are a grandmother or a high-school student--this passage is applicable to you."

I just finished the 3rd chapter moments ago, which spoke on loving our children, and her insights are both helpful, practical, and Biblical. I would encourage you to pick up a copy of her book today. Keep your eyes open for more posts on this great title!

-"They are to teach what is good,  and so train the young women to love their husbands and children,  to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled."                                       Titus 2:3-5
