So 8 weeks ago I looked at the way I was using Pinterest and wasn't happy with what I saw. In one place online(my blog) I was encouraging my fellow women to spend their days preparing for their future marriage, motherhood, and homemaking, and on the other place online(pinterest) I was spending my days pinning funny quotes, pictures from media I enjoyed, and things I simply found interesting. This showed in the amount of pins I had in each board.

I realized that if pinterest were to match that which I was encouraging other women to do, that the boards with the most pins would have been homeschooling, food, children's busy ideas, things for the future, and done this. So after deciding to make a drastic change in my pinterest activities, I began to write a pinterest series about my pinning adventures here on the blog. Now, 8 weeks later, it is time for this series to come to a close.
My time spent on pinterest is now spent in a completely different way, and this new way has also helped me to limit the amount of time I spend there. My boards look a little different now, and I believe that I have successfully achieved what I set out to achieve 8 weeks ago. I now use pinterest in a way that I sincerely hope and believe matches with what I am encouraging you all to do here. And what I am doing now matches what I am saying. My new boards look like this. (I have not deleted any of the original pins.)
